About me
I’m Louis, a 21-year-old British-Swiss creative born in Birmingham, UK and currently based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
Biography
I was born in Birmingham, UK, and moved to Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, when I was eight. For most of these years, the guitar and the camera have been close companions. Having two places to call home, and having seen many others along the way, as we travelled a lot when I was young, has shaped how I see things, how I listen, and how I work.
Education and professional career
After my commercial apprenticeship I graduated as a Media Manager (Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education) at the School of Design in Bern in 2025. During these studies, I gained valuable experience in marketing at Leica Camera Switzerland. Additionally, I did the Wirtepatent (Certificate of Competence for Managing a Hospitality Business).
Freelance
I work independently as a designer, mainly for clients in the music and cultural sectors in Switzerland and the UK. What started as a small side project quickly grew into something more long-term. A small freelancing business. I work across branding, photography, graphic and web design, often combining these disciplines depending on what the project calls for. Whether it’s a one-off shoot or a full visual identity, I value honest exchange, clear communication, and a design process that feels considered but human. My aim has always been to create work that feels not just polished, but personal and to make the process enjoyable for everyone involved. To create something to last.
My approach
I work professionally, while always leaving space for human intuition. My approach might not be the most conventional: I'm open to a wide range of projects, even if it means doing something for the first time. I try to charge fairly and adjust my rates depending on the client and context, because not every project fits into the same box.
You bring your ideas, your story, your voice, and I bring my experience, curiosity and care. I want that exchange to feel respectful and honest. I care about getting the tone right, even if it takes a few extra rounds or unexpected turns along the way. In the end, I want the work to feel right for you, not just well-designed but genuinely fitting.
Tools and expertise
I work with a wide range of digital tools and platforms to support creative, technical, and strategic aspects of my projects. From design and content creation to web development, project management, and marketing, I combine expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software with hands-on experience across a variety of systems. I spent a few days in one of my favourite cities this winter. Took the TGV from Switzerland and then headed straight to a beautiful little apartment with the metro line 4 to Passy (fancy, I know).

Three dots. It could be the logo of a bank. Or a travel company. Instead, it's the logo of my small portfolio. And why?
The Story behind my logo

I work with individuals and businesses in the UK and Switzerland to create strong visual identities from personal branding to full corporate design.
My latest project is this brand that I designed for Lolo, an Amapiano DJ from Biel/Bienne. Together we have created a brand that reflects her vibrant personality, her cultural roots and her musical talent.

I create editorial and social media assets, posters, flyers, and brochures for associations, companies, and individuals in the UK and Switzerland.
With a brochure on the the variety of associations in Suhr, poster and brochure for the annual concert and new uniform ceremony of the Suhr Music Society and a poster on improving working conditions in the care sector (Pflegeinitiative), I had the chance to work on some graphic design projects.

I design websites for associations, businesses, and individuals in the UK and Switzerland using Wix Studio, a no-code platform by Wix.com made for agencies. The focus is on clean design, responsiveness, and SEO.
I have created websites for the Musikgesellschaft Suhr, CAD Expert Avant Planung, Madretsch Nord, Swiss Tatort actress Anna Pieri Zuercher and author Jean-Cédric Michel.

In my photography, I’ve mainly focused on dance, events, and portraits. I photograph festivals, clubs, and events across Switzerland and also offer dance photography, covering full performances or individual dance shoots.
My approach is simple and natural, aiming to capture authentic moments as they pass.
I shoot digitally using a selection of fixed and zoom lenses, depending on the needs of each project. I also offer original Polaroid photographs, shot with my Polaroid I-2 and a variety of film stocks.

With many years of experience working with Wix, I support you in building or improving your own website, whether you're starting from scratch or refining something existing. From layout and content structure to CMS, SEO, and go-live, I guide you through the full process and help you get the most out of this often underrated platform.
I have used Wix.com and Wix Studio to create websites from scratch for companies and associations like the Musikgesellschaft Suhr, CAD Expert Avant Planung and Madretsch Nord as well as for individuals such as the Swiss Tatort actress Anna Pieri Zuercher and author Jean-Cédric Michel.
