Biography
I was born in Birmingham, UK, and moved to Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, when I was eight. For most of these years, the guitar and the camera have been close companions. Having two places to call home, and having seen many others along the way, as we travelled a lot when I was young, has shaped how I see things, how I listen, and how I work.
Education and professional career
After my commercial apprenticeship I graduated as a Media Manager (Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education) at the School of Design in Bern in 2025. During these studies, I gained valuable experience in marketing at Leica Camera Switzerland. Additionally, I did the Wirtepatent (Certificate of Competence for Managing a Hospitality Business).
Freelance
I work independently as a designer, mainly for clients in the music and cultural sectors in Switzerland and the UK. What started as a small side project quickly grew into something more long-term. A small freelancing business. I work across branding, photography, graphic and web design, often combining these disciplines depending on what the project calls for. Whether it’s a one-off shoot or a full visual identity, I value honest exchange, clear communication, and a design process that feels considered but human. My aim has always been to create work that feels not just polished, but personal and to make the process enjoyable for everyone involved. To create something to last.
My approach
I work professionally, while always leaving space for human intuition. My approach might not be the most conventional: I'm open to a wide range of projects, even if it means doing something for the first time. I try to charge fairly and adjust my rates depending on the client and context, because not every project fits into the same box.
You bring your ideas, your story, your voice, and I bring my experience, curiosity and care. I want that exchange to feel respectful and honest. I care about getting the tone right, even if it takes a few extra rounds or unexpected turns along the way. In the end, I want the work to feel right for you, not just well-designed but genuinely fitting.
