Here is an outline of how I typically approach branding projects. Depending on your needs, we can adapt the scope or focus along the way.

Getting to know each other
First we meet, ideally in person or via video call, and have a little chat. This first conversation is about getting a sense of what you're looking for, and whether what I offer is a good fit.

Discovery & Definition
Once we’ve decided to move forward, we'll define your brand’s purpose, values, audience and aims. This gives us a clear foundation, not only for visuals, but also for tone and direction.
After this discovery phase, I’ll put together a final project offer with a timeline tailored to your needs. This ensures we both have clarity on what’s included and how long it will take.

Moodboards & Visual Exploration
I create 3-4 different moodboards that explore potential directions in style, tone, and aesthetic. We review them together and discuss what resonates. This step helps us align visually before any design begins.

Concept Design
Based on the chosen moodboards, I develop 1-2 initial concepts. We review, discuss, and refine; either by further developing one direction or testing new ones if needed. This is an iterative, open process shaped by your feedback.
5.
Final Concept Presentation
Once we’ve narrowed it down, I present the final concept. We make any small adjustments to ensure everything feels just right before moving into final production.

Assets & Brand Guide
I finalise all logo versions, colour palettes, typography, and visual elements. You receive a clear, accessible brand guide on brandguide.louisplant.ch and as a PDF along with all assets.

Handover & Support
You get access to your personal brand portal with everything in one place, files, guidelines, templates and more. If you need further support, I’m here to help with rollout and implementation. That could mean designing templates, creating marketing materials, building your website, or adding photography that fits your brand. Many clients continue working with me across these areas to keep everything consistent and aligned.

My latest project is this brand that I designed for Lolo, an Amapiano DJ from Biel/Bienne. Together we have created a brand that reflects her vibrant personality, her cultural roots and her musical talent.
I create editorial and social media assets, posters, flyers, and brochures for associations, companies, and individuals in the UK and Switzerland.
With a brochure on the the variety of associations in Suhr, poster and brochure for the annual concert and new uniform ceremony of the Suhr Music Society and a poster on improving working conditions in the care sector (Pflegeinitiative), I had the chance to work on some graphic design projects.
I design websites for associations, businesses, and individuals in the UK and Switzerland using Wix Studio, a no-code platform by Wix.com made for agencies. The focus is on clean design, responsiveness, and SEO.
I have created websites for the Musikgesellschaft Suhr, CAD Expert Avant Planung, Madretsch Nord, Swiss Tatort actress Anna Pieri Zuercher and author Jean-Cédric Michel.
In my photography, I’ve mainly focused on dance, events, and portraits. I photograph festivals, clubs, and events across Switzerland and also offer dance photography, covering full performances or individual dance shoots.
My approach is simple and natural, aiming to capture authentic moments as they pass.
I shoot digitally using a selection of fixed and zoom lenses, depending on the needs of each project. I also offer original Polaroid photographs, shot with my Polaroid I-2 and a variety of film stocks.
