Logo Design for ITValuWorks

ITValuWorks provides IT consulting services, specialising in consulting and training across the fields of IT Service Management, IT Value and Financial Management, as well as IT Asset and Licence Management.

I had the opportunity to design the logo for the newly established ITValuWorks.

I studied Media Management at the Schule für Gestaltung in Bern, while working in Marketing and Communications at Leica Camera and now work independently as a freelance designer.

About the project

The ITValuWorks logo combines innovation, a subtle reference to Switzerland and a direct connection to the company name.

The logo mark is built around the recognisable letters V and W, which, when viewed upside down, also form an M for Markus. At the same time, the shape can be interpreted as two stylised mountains, referencing both Switzerland and the founder's surname, Schweizer.

Beyond these references, the logo mark also came to represent innovation through the arrow shape and trust through partnership, reflecting two of the four core values we defined during our kick-off workshop.

As the founder wanted to use the logo both for his new company and for his teaching work, we created two versions of the primary logo: one featuring his name and one without. This gave him the flexibility to use the identity across both.

The secondary logo works beautifully in the brand colours, especially at smaller sizes.
