The animated and interactive hero section offers visitors a warm and engaging welcome. It showcases a curated selection of books, a portrait, and a brief biography, immediately drawing their attention. Clear and distinct primary and secondary buttons guide users effortlessly toward their next steps, ensuring a smooth and intuitive browsing experience.

The website is fully responsive, providing an optimal user experience across all devices and viewports. Given that the majority of users are expected to access the site via mobile, we prioritized the mobile-first design approach to ensure seamless functionality and a visually appealing layout on smaller screens.

The homepage's primary element highlights the latest book, featuring a description and a clear call-to-action for ordering. This is followed by four smaller elements showcasing additional books, providing users with a quick overview of the broader selection.

A simple overview features press mentions of Jean-Cédric Michel and his work. Each media outlet's logo is prominently displayed, allowing visitors to quickly recognise the sources, adding credibility and visual clarity to the section.

At the bottom of each page, users are presented with an option to visit the Books page. This feature is designed with visitors in mind who may have landed on the site through other pages rather than the homepage, ensuring they can easily access the full range of available books no matter where they start their journey.

A visually appealing, well-designed button directs users to purchase the featured book on Amazon. The button stands out, drawing attention while maintaining the site's overall aesthetic, ensuring a seamless and intuitive purchasing experience.

To mark the publication of Plus pour tous, Jean-Cédric Michel wanted a new, slick and interactive website on which to promote this latest work and showcase his existing books. The focus was to be more on press statements and a news section which, together with new pages for retailers and journalists, have been integrated into a brand new bilingual website. I developed the concept, and did the layout and design from scratch. It can be viewed on any device and is quickly found on Google.
